Booking Policy

  • A deposit of 25%, subject to a minimum of £45 is required at the time of booking accommodation, with the balance payable in full no later than 7 days before the arrival date.
  • Full prepayment is required for bookings made within 7 days of arrival.
  • A provisional booking will be held for 2 days only to allow the deposit or full prepayment to be made as appropriate.
  • ALL BOOKINGS REMAIN PROVISIONAL UNTIL CONFIRMED BY US BY E-MAIL OR IN WRITING

Cancellation policy

We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances and events beyond your control may force you to change your plans.

  • Further, in the event of adverse weather or breakdown causing cancellation of sailings or flights to the island, we are in no way responsible for any losses so incurred
  • In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, ie only the deposit has been paid, made more than seven days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded minus a £15 administration fee.
  • Similarly, if a booking is cancelled within seven days of arrival, ie after payment in full has been made, we will endeavour to re-let the room(s) and refund any monies paid subject to a £15 administration fee. If the re-letting is done at a discounted price, this discount will be removed from any monies refunded.
  • If unsuccessful in re-letting, the guest will not be due any refund.
  • Cancellation to be in writing or by e-mail. IT MUST BE RECEIPTED BY US before being effective.
  • Foreign visitors will probably have travel insurance, domestic visitors are strongly recommended to take out a cancellation policy.
  • We strongly recommend consideration of taking out insurance.

Departure and Arrival times

  • Departure is by 10.00 a.m. and arrival from 16.00 p.m.
  • Circumstances may allow these times to be amended by prior agreement where possible to accommodate guests individual travel arrangements. We will try to be flexible, but please remember that should guests wish to travel on the second ferry, the next guests might well be arriving on the inward sailing!

Complaints and comments

  • Any complaint regarding your stay with us should be made in the first instance to our manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time
  • You will be asked for comments and to fill in a feedback form

Vehicles and personal property

  • Vehicles, accessories and contents are parked or left at 29 Kenneth St. at their owner's risk
  • The proprietors will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to persons not caused through the fault of the proprietor.

Unacceptable behaviour

  • We reserve the right to remove or restrict from entering the property any person or persons due to unreasonable behavior, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy
  • No refunds will be given in this instance
  • Strictly No smoking in the guest house please, this will be treated as unreasonable behavior
  • We are sorry we cannot accept pets.
